No Magic in Christianity

It is time for Christians to grow up in their thinking. Superstition and banal teaching has resulted in an entire generation of Christians who have no solid foundation in the Scriptures. They listen to people on television, Radio, the internet and books and tapes. They do not read the Scriptures alone for themselves. They have not been taught the true propriety in which God speaks to us. They do not have faith to hear from God and have forgotten they are to be a supernatural people if they ever knew it to begin with. Our subject falls right into place among these evils of ignorance, bad teaching and superstition. MAGIC. Webster defines magic as: a power that allows people (such as witches and wizards) to do impossible things by saying special words or performing special actions Miracles, such as those Jesus performed were not magic. Miracles are different entirely.the Dictionary defines Miracle as effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. 2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God. 3. a wonder; marvel. Magic usually a human being exercising his power and desire to manipulate circumstances or natural order. Miracles are not instituted by men or his desires but are soveriegn acts of God. Though the difference is a clear one Men have ascribed acts of magic to Jesus and prophets of the Bible. They still do. let me give you some examples. 1. TO BE CONTINUED!
